Our Wild Forest Mushroom Mix contains an exceptional combination of wild mushrooms to provide a rich complexity of flavors. Varieties include chanterelles, porcini, black trumpet, matsutake, and velvet shank.
Dried wild mushrooms add excellent flavor to soups, sauces, stews, and gravies adding richness to these dishes. Dried wild mushroom are typically much stronger in flavor than fresh mushrooms, which makes them more economical to use.
Dried mushrooms can also be chipped or powdered in a food processor and used as a rub for meats, vegetables, and fish. Our combination of wild mushrooms provides a rich complexity of flavors.
